I am taking a brief break from my lengthy 4th of July vacation (to all of my loyal followers, I am sorry I didn't mention it before) in order to celebrate the commutation of Scooter Libby's sentenceLibby's sentence. What better way to celebrate the birth of freedom and democracy on the American continent than to have justice to be served merely two days before we celebrate the birth of our great country.

President Bush spared I. Lewis Libby Jr. from prison Monday, commuting his two-and-a-half year sentence while leaving intact his conviction for perjury and obstruction of justice in the C.I.A. leak case.

Mr. Bush’s action, announced hours after a panel of judges ruled that Mr. Libby, Vice President Dick Cheney’s former chief of staff, could not put off serving his sentence while he appealed his conviction, came as a surprise to all but a few members of the president’s inner circle. It reignited the passions that have surrounded the case from the beginning.

The commutation brought immediate praise from conservatives, who hailed it as a courageous step to avert a miscarriage of justice, and condemnation from Democrats, who said it showed a lack of accountability and respect for the law.

Although this isn't the full pardon that I had hoped for, it is a step in the right direction, which, hopefully, will lead to a full pardon before President George W. Bush's tenure in the White House is over. President George W. Bush's compassion shows us that justice may be blind, but she is not dumb.

American Public Schools Are Infested With Left-Wing Radicalism

High school seniors who have performed well in the classroom were cordially invited to the White House this in order to receive a medal from President George W. Bush recognizing their achievement. Instead of being gracious guests fifty students decided to push the left-wing agenda that has been crammed down the throats of American children attending public schools.

President Bush was presented with a letter signed by 50 high school seniors in the Presidential Scholars program urging a halt to “violations of the human rights” of terror suspects held by the United States. The White House said Mr. Bush had not expected the letter but took a moment to read it. “The president enjoyed a visit with the students, accepted the letter and upon reading it let the students know that the United States does not torture and that we value human rights,” Dana Perino, the deputy press secretary, said.

What would give these students the idea that the United States condones torture? The left-wing media and all of the liberal teachers who have been brainwashing them their entire lives. The facts are out there, but the left continues to distort or ignore them. The United States has never practiced or condoned the use of torture.

More Evidence Cheney Will Seek '08 Nomination

An article in today's Washington Post took a look at how Vice President Cheney is taking further steps to prepare his staff for an '08 bid.

Cheney has changed history more than once, earning his reputation as the nation's most powerful vice president. His impact has been on public display in the arenas of foreign policy and homeland security, and in a long-running battle to broaden presidential authority. But he has also been the unseen hand behind some of the president's major domestic initiatives.

Scores of interviews with advisers to the president and vice president, as well as with other senior officials throughout the government, offer a backstage view of how the Bush White House operates. The president is "the decider," as Bush puts it, but the vice president often serves up his menu of choices.

Cheney led a group that winnowed the president's list of potential Supreme Court nominees. Cheney resolved a crisis in the space program after the Columbia shuttle disaster. Cheney fashioned a controversial truce between the legislative and executive branches -- and averted resignations at the top of the Justice Department and the FBI -- over the right of law enforcement authorities to investigate political corruption in Congress.

And it was Cheney who served as the guardian of conservative orthodoxy on budget and tax matters. He shaped and pushed through Bush's tax cuts, blunting the influence of Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan, a longtime friend, and of Cabinet rivals he had played a principal role in selecting. He managed to overcome the president's "compassionate conservative" resistance to multiple breaks for the wealthy. He even orchestrated a decision to let a GOP senator switch parties -- giving control of the chamber to Democrats -- rather than meet the senator's demand for billions of dollars in new spending.

On the home front, the vice president is well known for leading a secretive task force on energy policy. But in a town where politicians routinely scurry for credit, Cheney more often kept his role concealed, even from top Bush advisers..."Dick's major concern, one of them was, and I agree, that there needs to be a greater and more effective role for the vice president," Marsh, a longtime Cheney friend, said in an interview. "He holds the view, as do I, that the vice president should be the chief of staff in effect, that everything should run through his office."

In Bush, Cheney found the perfect partner. The president's willingness to delegate left plenty of room for his more detail-oriented vice president.

Vice President Cheney's steady hand has played an important role in the administration of President George W. Bush. By pushing for more influence for the office of the Vice President is Vice President Cheney signaling to his supporters that he will be running in '08? With the current list of possible Republican canidadates made up of papists, scientologists, and believers in evolution, the only chance for the United States to survive would be for Vice President Cheney to run. Let's hope he does.

Turncoat Redcoat Tony Blair Turns His Back on President George W. Bush, Christ

Former ally to President George W. Bush, Tony Blair, has stepped down as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom thus abandoning six years of friendship and solidarity with our beloved President George W. Bush. If this wasn't enough of a stab in the back to freedom and peace loving people throughout the world, Blair has also decided to convert to papism.

Tony Blair is "certain" to become a Roman Catholic shortly after he steps down from office next week, friends of the Prime Minister have told The Independent. They believe it will happen "sooner rather than later".

Fortunately the hand of God helped the British people when establishing some laws in that country.

[S]ome lawyers believe the 1829 Emancipation Act, which granted civil rights to Roman Catholics, may still prevent a Catholic from becoming Prime Minister. It says that no Catholic adviser to the monarch can hold civil or military office.

Having a law on the books that prevents papists from advising the monarch is an excellent law because it prevents non-Christians from taking over the country and converting its people to non-Christianity. Just imagine what would happen if a Mohammedan were allowed to advise the monarch! It wouldn't be long until Britain was turned into an Islamofascist Caliphate.

Hollyweird's Communist Agenda

Just when we thought that the communists had been defeated, Hollyweird goes and revives that evil menace.

The voice of Princess Fiona in the animated "Shrek" films visited the Incan city of Machu Picchu in Peru's Andes on Friday carrying an olive green bag emblazoned with a red star and the words "Serve the People" printed in Chinese, perhaps Chinese Communist leader Mao Zedong's most famous political slogan.

The bags are marketed as fashion accessories in some world capitals, but in Peru the slogan evokes memories of the Maoist Shining Path insurgency that fought the government in the 1980s and early 1990s in a bloody conflict that left nearly 70,000 people dead.

This is just one more example of why we should boycott Hollyweird. Their agenda is obviously anti-American, pro-Communist, and pro-terrorist. If only Senator McCarthy were still alive.

Moore's Use of 9/11 Rescue Workers is Sicko

Sean Hannity reviewed Michael Moore's latest piece of left-wing propaganda "Sicko" on his show Hannity's America last Sunday. I am glad that Hannity is standing up to the left's use of 9/11 rescue workers as props for photo ops. 9/11 was one of the greatest tragedies in American history and the left's use of it for purely political purposes makes me sick to my stomach.

Is V.P. Cheney Making Preparations for a Presidential Bid?

Vice President Dick Cheney's office appears to be gearing up for a possible presidential campaign. He is doing this by slightly distancing himself from President Bush's executive office so that he can have a free hand when it comes time to campaign.

For four years, Vice President Dick Cheney has resisted routine oversight of his office’s handling of classified information, and when the National Archives unit that monitors classification in the executive branch objected, the vice president’s office suggested abolishing the oversight unit, according to documents released yesterday by a Democratic congressman...The letter said that after repeatedly refusing to comply with a routine annual request from the archives for data on his staff’s classification of internal documents, the vice president’s office in 2004 blocked an on-site inspection of records that other agencies of the executive branch regularly go through...David B. Rivkin, a Washington lawyer who served in Justice Department and White House posts in earlier Republican administrations, said Mr. Cheney had a valid point about the unusual status of the office he holds.
“The office of the vice president really is unique,” Mr. Rivkin said. “It’s not an agency. It’s an extension of the vice president himself.”

The democrats are again trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill; the vice presidency is constitutionally defined as a legislative function (he is the tie breaker in the Senate). The only reason that democrats are trying to tie Cheney to the White House is so that they can continue their smear campaign. I think this bold move by Vice President Cheney is a signal to the people of the United States: He is going to run in 2008. The American people need to stand up to this vicious attempt by the democrat party to smear Vice President Cheney. He may be our only hope to secure liberty and freedom when 2008 rolls around.

Condi is in Touch with Ordinary Americans

Although I am not in favor of people listening to that hippity hoppity music (unless of course it is Christian, but there is very little of that out there), I wanted to post this video of Condi jamming a few days ago with some folks because people in the left- wing media say that the Bush Administration is out of touch. Boy are they wrong. Look at how Condi is feeling the music and really getting down to it. Ordinary folks should be encouraged by Condi's display in this video. The Bush Administration is in touch with us and they will continue to look out for us as terrorists and enemies of freedom try to destroy our country.

Trent Lott Electrifies Immigration Debate

Senate Minority Whip Trent Lott has come up with an excellent way to keep our borders secure. He

was talking to reporters Wednesday about the immigration bill, when he said, "If the answer is 'build a fence' I've got two goats on my place in Mississippi. There ain't no fence big enough, high enough, strong enough, that you can keep those goats in that fence."

"Now people are at least as smart as goats," Lott continued. "Maybe not as agile. Build a fence. We should have a virtual fence. Now one of the ways I keep those goats in the fence is I electrified them. Once they got popped a couple of times they quit trying to jump it."

"I'm not proposing an electrified goat fence," Lott added quickly, "I'm just trying, there's an analogy there."

Asked for clarification as to what exactly the analogy was, Lott spokesman Lee Youngblood said that the senator supported a variety of measures in the immigration bill, including unmanned aerial surveillance vehicles, radar and more border patrol agents, as well as a fence to reduce the flow of illegal immigration.

"A fence in and of itself is not enough," said Youngblood. "You can have technology to support the fence and to supplement the fence."

This is probably the most intelligent idea I have heard so far in the debate about how to keep the homeland secure from illegal immigrants. Electric fences, like abstinence education, works. If we build a 2,000 mile electric fence along the Mexican border all of our problems will be solved.

A Swedish heavy metal fan has had his musical preferences officially classified as a disability. The results of a psychological analysis enable the metal lover to supplement his income with state benefits.

Roger Tullgren, 42, from Hässleholm in southern Sweden has just started working part time as a dishwasher at a local restaurant. Because heavy metal dominates so many aspects of his life, the Employment Service has agreed to pay part of Tullgren's salary. His new boss meanwhile has given him a special dispensation to play loud music at work.

"I have been trying for ten years to get this classified as a handicap," Tullgren told The Local.

"I spoke to three psychologists and they finally agreed that I needed this to avoid being discriminated against."

In a country where heavy metal never really went away, this is indeed a dangerous precedent.

European Leaders Stand Up to "Global Warming" Myth

The people who know that "global warming" is nothing more than a myth made up by left-wing elitists have a new ally in Europe, the Czech Republic's Vaclav Klaus. In a recent question and answer session with the Financial Times Klaus laid out the truth about the propaganda movement behind the "global warming" myth.

This is exactly my argument. It is impossible to seriously predict global weather, not to speak about climate. But my argument is less about eventual variations in global climate. My doubts are mostly about the impact of human activities on global climate. This connection seems to me – after having read hundreds of books, articles and studies – very weak. This weakness is a problem. Because of this weakness, we should not make drastic, far-reaching measures.

Klaus is a stand up guy, and he is not afraid to speak truth to the left-wing propaganda machine. Let's hope that this message of truth will spread from the heart of Europe to the rest of that God forsaken continent of left-wing loons.

America's Democrat Party's Got Talent!

A talent for whining. Nancy Pelosi is continuing to whine about the war in Iraq.

Addressing the liberal pressure group Campaign for America’s Future, Pelosi called the war in Iraq a “tragedy” and a “grotesque mistake,” but her words elicited catcalls for her to do more.

Pelosi acknowledged the protesters and even challenged them.

At one point in her remarks, she told the protesters, “The best preparation for combat is combat.”

When someone shouted a question about Darfur, Pelosi segued into a discussion about her visit to Sudan last year. But she then pivoted and with a smile asked, “Just getting back to the war now, if I may. Do you mind if I do that?”

At the end of her remarks, she said, “Instead of fighting with us, which is your right to do, let’s work together.”

If Ms. Pelosi is so against this war why doesn't she do something about it? Why is it that all she does is whine about how bad our dear leader, President Bush, is? Why does she not, as she says she can do, cut off the funding for the troops. I'll tell you why, because the democrat party has no ideas, no sense of duty, no plan for America. Instead, they sit on their high horse and whine about how bad the Republicans are. If the democrat party really stood for more than whining, then they should cut off the funding for our troops who are in harms way, but of course they won't because that would require action and if there is one thing that the democrat party does not have, besides a sense of humor (think of John McCain's hilarious rendition of the Beach Boys' song "Bomb Iran), it is the ability to act. Democrats would much rather sit in their fancy mansions drinking foo foo drinks and complaining about how bad things are instead of doing what they say is best (although of course what they want to do is destroy America, so maybe it is a good thing that all they do is whine).

Democrats, who had made the stem cell legislation a top priority when they took control of the House and Senate in January, were quick to denounce the president's decision.

You know that a party has lost touch with reality when it makes one of its major goals the destruction of innocent life. Instead of working hard for the American people the democrat party has continued to embrace death and play political theater.

U.S. Supreme Court: Enhanced Interrogation Techniques Work

When discussing the use of enhanced interrogation techniques to fellow judges Justice Antonin Scalia said the following

"Jack Bauer saved Los Angeles. ... He saved hundreds of thousands of lives," Judge Scalia said. Then, recalling...where the agent's rough interrogation tactics saved California from a terrorist nuke, the Supreme Court judge etched a line in the sand.
"Are you going to convict Jack Bauer?" Judge Scalia challenged his fellow judges. "Say that criminal law is against him? 'You have the right to a jury trial?' Is any jury going to convict Jack Bauer? I don't think so.

"So the question is really whether we believe in these absolutes. And ought we believe in these absolutes."

A lot of liberals are going to be upset by this statement, but Jack Bauer is a patriotic American who has stood up to terrorists and done his part to ensure our freedoms. We need more Jack Bauers in America. If all Americans acted like him, there would be no terrorist threat.

Santorum to Sanitize Hollywierd

Former Senator Rick Santorum is going to Hollyweird!

umors have been buzzing throughout Harrisburg that Santorum was connecting with McEveety, who produced Mel Gibson blockbusters such as "Braveheart," "The Passion of the Christ" and "We Were Soldiers," on a project.

"I am not doing anything with Mel Gibson," said Santorum, a former U.S. senator from Penn Hills who now is a senior fellow with the Ethics and Public Policy Center, a conservative Washington think tank.

This is great news for Christianity. Rick Santorum is known for his faith and his ability to route evil from his midsts. Perhaps this project will lead to a Christian Hollyweird, which would be great for our country and the world. Just think of all of the good and Christian movies that could be made when all of the sinners are banished from Hollyweird! Redemption is near!

It's a Zen Thing, Like How Many Babies Fit in a Tire

Karma sucks. Socialist philosophy in and of itself is inherently flawed in its Godlessness. This week's news also proves that is is flawed for families.

A day after President Nicolas Sarkozy’s conservative party captured a smaller majority in Parliament than expected, France’s Socialist Party was struggling to adjust to the awkward reality that its first couple — Ségolène Royal and François Hollande — had split up.

In typical liberal fashion this couple never got married, but decided to sire bastard children who may never see the grace of God. And, as socialists tend to do, they put their careers ahead of their family. This should be enough evidence for anyone with a brain that socialism does not work economically, politically, or familialy.

Senator Fred Thompson is dancing to the right tune. He flew to London today to meet with former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, seen above dancing with Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Fred Thompson, the actor and former Tennessee senator who is expected to announce next month he is running for president, flew to London on Monday to meet Margaret Thatcher and deliver a foreign policy speech, his advisers tell The Politico.

Thompson's advisers aim to use the London events to bolster his foreign policy credentials and elevate him above the increasingly contentious fray of the GOP race.

On Wednesday, he will pose for photos with Thatcher, which his advisers hope will enhance his support among devotees of former President Ronald Reagan.

Many pictures have been taken of President Bush that have brought us together as a nation. A picture of Maggie and Fred together is THE picture that will unite all conservatives and sane democrats as well. Almost every day the Thompson crew is surprising the world with its ingenious decisions: adding Vice President Dick Cheney's daughter to the campaign, endorsing Guantanamo, calling for tough measures against illegal immigrants, and now this. He has come so far and has yet to announce if he is running or not, I can't wait to see what he has in store for us if he does decide to be our next president!

"Global Warming" Debunked Yet Again

A recent article in Australia's Courier Mail has the scoop.

The salient facts are these. First, the accepted global average temperature statistics used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change show that no ground-based warming has occurred since 1998. Oddly, this eight-year-long temperature stasis has occurred despite an increase over the same period of 15 parts per million (or 4 per cent) in atmospheric CO2.

Second, lower atmosphere satellite-based temperature measurements, if corrected for non-greenhouse influences such as El Nino events and large volcanic eruptions, show little if any global warming since 1979, a period over which atmospheric CO2 has increased by 55 ppm (17 per cent).

Third, there are strong indications from solar studies that Earth's current temperature stasis will be followed by climatic cooling over the next few decades.

It is past time for those who have deceived governments and misled the public regarding dangerous human-caused global warming to be called to account. Aided by hysterical posturing by green NGOs, their actions have led to the cornering of government on the issue and the likely implementation of futile emission policies that will impose direct extra costs on every household and enterprise in Australia to no identifiable benefit.

Not only do humans not dominate Earth's current temperature trend but the likelihood is that further large sums of public money are shortly going to be committed to, theoretically, combat warming when cooling is the more likely short-term climatic eventuality.

In one of the more expensive ironies of history, the expenditure of more than $US50 billion ($60 billion) on research into global warming since 1990 has failed to demonstrate any human-caused climate trend, let alone a dangerous one.

Yet that expenditure will pale into insignificance compared with the squandering of money that is going to accompany the introduction of a carbon trading or taxation system.

The costs of thus expiating comfortable middle class angst are, of course, going to be imposed preferentially upon the poor and underprivileged.

Southern Democrats Love Hussein

Looks like the democRat party in the South is even crazier than anywhere else. A recent poll of southern defeatocRats showed that they preferred madrassa trained Barry Hussein Obama to all other defeatocRat candidates by a wide margin.

Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama and Republican Fred Thompson were the frontrunners in South Carolina's first-in-the-South 2008 presidential primary, according to a poll Sunday.

The survey by the Mason-Dixon polling firm found that African-American support had pushed Obama ahead of US Senator Hillary Clinton, giving him the support of 34 percent of likely voters against 25 percent for Clinton.

Former US Senator John Edwards of North Carolina was third at 12 percent, while 24 percent of respondents were undecided.

This evidence of the democRat party's love for terrorists should be enough to convince any voter not to vote for the democRat party. Will the loyalists of the party of retreat and defeat retreat from the terrorists within their own party? I highly doubt that.

The Price is Wrong, Bob

Bob Barker, who recently retired from The Price is Right, has given Tokyo Rosie his endorsement to take over his old show.

"I believe they're going to have a meeting with Rosie," Barker said backstage Friday night at the Daytime Emmy Awards, where he won his 19th trophy.

"She knows the show," he said. "There's no doubt in my mind she could do the show. Now, whether they want a lady host, I don't know. I've never heard that discussed. As far as I know, they've only auditioned men."

Barker said his friendship with O'Donnell goes back several years, when she had him as a guest on her old daytime talk show.

"She told me she loved `The Price Is Right' and wanted to host it one day," he recalled.

Is Barker suffering from dementia? I know that NBC has been trying their hardest to get Tokyo Rosie to come to their station, but seriously, the price America will have to pay if she takes over is far too high. NBC should no better, but of course they don't.

"Wizard" Unable to Use Science to Defy God's Plan

Don Herbert, TV's Mr. Wizard, died this week.

From 1951 through 1964, Herbert's show, "Watch Mr. Wizard," aroused the curiosity of children and demystified scientific principles on a set built like a simple workshop. Adopting an informal style, Herbert used familiar household items such as cans, straws, and paper plates in his lab experiments. Boys and girls served as his on-air assistants.

The show was briefly revived in the 1970s, and then again in the 1980s, after Herbert revamped it for the Nickelodeon channel.

Many children "learned" about the "facts" of science from this gentleman. Mr. Wizard used his television programs in order to "teach" kids about the "benefits" of science. He made science look easy. Of course it looked easy, it is after all all based on theories. For some, science answers everything, however, science was not able to intervene when God came calling. May God have mercy on his soul.

Scientologist Mitt Romney Right on Abortion

In the late 1970s Scientologist Bishop Romney had a conversation with a woman about the evil of abortion

He said – What do you think you’re doing?

She said – Well, we have to abort the baby because I have these blood clots.

And he said something to the effect of – Well, why do you get off easy when other women have their babies?

And she said – What are you talking about? This is a life threatening situation.

And he said – Well what about the life of the baby?

And she said – I have four other children and I think it would be really irresponsible to continue the pregnancy.

X said she found herself arguing with Romney about her medical crisis, said he was very unsympathetic, very critical, and said that under the circumstances in no way did he condone her aborting the child. And he left.

She was extremely distraught. Talked it over with her husband. They decided to go ahead with the abortion. After that she left the church.

As I have stated before, I will not vote for a Scientologist, but with conversations like these I can be more at ease if Romney were to win the nomination.

D-Day

A dark cloud has fallen over this great country and that cloud's name is injustice. Today a liberal activist judge ordered an innocent man be put behind bars.

A federal judge on Thursday ordered I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby to report to prison while his attorneys appeal his perjury and obstruction convictions.

Libby's attorneys asked that the order be stayed, but U.S. District Court Judge Reggie Walton denied that and told Vice President Dick Cheney's former chief of staff that he had 10 days to appeal the ruling.

I pray for Scooter to be strong, like other innocent men who were imprisoned unjustly,like the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. If there can be any silver lining seen in this cloud, which I doubt there is, it is that he will have time to perhaps write another moving piece of literature.

Shame on the Democrat Party

Contrary to what the left-wing blogs and websites have been saying, President Bush's watch was indeed not stolen. Instead of looking at the hero's welcome that Albanians gave the President, the democrat left tried to make Albanians out to be criminals. Shame on you democrats! Shame on you!

Americans Tired of DefeatocRat Congress

In a new poll released today the democRat led Congress received the lowest approval rating ever.

According to the poll, just 23 percent of Americans approve of the job Congress is doing.

Conyers is Crazy in Love with Subpoenas

Rep. John Conyers, defeatocRat Michigan, is yet again pulling Congress away from the important work of protecting America so that he can have some more political theater.

White House statement issued Wednesday said: "We are aware of the Judiciary committees' plans to issue subpoenas. We will respond appropriately. The committees can easily obtain the facts they want without a confrontation by simply accepting our offer for documents and interviews. But it's clear that Senator Leahy and Rep. Conyers are more interested in drama than facts."

"It must be terribly frustrating to Chairman [John] Conyers [D-Michigan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee] and Chairman Leahy that more documents come out and still again there's no evidence of any wrongdoing," Fratto said.

"The bottom line -- there's no news in these e-mails. I know Conyers and Leahy say this shows more White House involvement in the process than was known. No, it doesn't. It doesn't show any more than we've talked about extensively.

If you live in Michigan, call Rep. Conyers and tell him to stop playing games with America's safety. Every day that he wastes playing politics with a completely legal issue is a day that terrorists can use to plot against America.

Think of the great things this family could do for America if each of our three branches of government was represented by a Cheney. Life would be wonderful.

Keeping with they're strategy of defeat, democRat Senators failed in they're attempts in a vote of no confidence today regarding the esteemed Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez. Richard over at Cheney 08 has the details. This is a great day for America. The defeatocRat racist attempts at getting the first Latino Attorney General removed have failed. Thank God for the sanity of the Republican Party and one democrat Senator, Joe Lieberman. Lieberman seems to have realized that the socialist Chavezistas like Feinstien and Reid will be the end of the democRat party. If people like Joe Lieberman are able to take control of the party, there may be a future for the democrats. I will never vote for them, but at least they will have some sanity in they're platform. There has been much speculation recently as to why Paris Hilton was released early. The fact is that LA jails are overcrowded and almost any other person in her position would never been put in jail in the first place. Why then is she in prison? DemocRat Senators are going to engage in political theater on a grand scale today. They are going to hold a "no confidence" vote on Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez. What do body do they think they belong to? Parliament???? No confidence votes have no meaning in American government, they are simply doing what they have done since they stole the election last November, play acting. Instead of working hard for the American people the defeatocRats have, for the last six months done absolutely nothing except for hold back money for our troops, improperly investigate good Americans, and try to make a molehill out of the practice of firing US Attorneys (which I might add all precedents have done!!!!!). Precedent Bush said it best

"They can have their votes of no-confidence but it's not going to make the determination about who serves in my government," Bush said Monday. "This process has been drug out a long time. ... It's political."

Congressman William Jefferson, above, was charged with corruption this week and yet not a peep has been heard from the liberal main stream media. On Tuesday

the nine-term congressmen was hit with 16 federal charges accusing him of using his political office to bribe businessmen and influence foreign officials.

Where is all of the coverage? Not on NBC, CBS, ABC, New York Times or any other liberal media outlet. Only FoxNews was again brave enough to break a story that everyone else is ignoring. Only one Republican, Duke Cunningham, has been convicted of corruption, he admited he done wrong, but the left wing media hounded him so much he broke down in tears. Jefferson put half a million dollars in his freezer and no one is paying attention. Liberal media bias???

I Think We Should Double Guantanamo

The Scientologist Romney partially understands what the Global War on Terror is all about. He is certainly not up to par to meet my standards for president, but at least he understands it a little. At a recent event he said the following:

"I think some people see Guantanamo as a source of America's arrogance, and I see it as a source of America's resolve," Romney said.

He also recently said that he doesn't want the terrorists to have access to our attorneys. I agree with him on that one, once you let those ambulance chasers, like John Edwards, get into a room with the terrorists, the next thing you know they will be suing the government for millions of dollars. That is simply unacceptable.

Over the weekend, four Muslims were accused of planning to blowup JFK airport here in New York City. That comes on the heels of six Muslims arrested for planning to kill U.S. soldiers in New Jersey. But hey, don't be alarmed. According to John Edwards and The New York Times, this is no big deal.In Sunday's Times, editor Bill Keller put the JFK story on, ready, page 37 right above a story about kids playing at a Fuddrucker's restaurant. Every other New York City paper had the Muslim suspects on page one, where they should have been.
Now apparently The Times isn't real concerned about Muslim guys allegedly trying to set up another 9/11. On page one of Sunday's New York Times was this story: some poor people in India making bricks.

Again, O'Reilly and FoxNews are the only ones bold enough to speak the truth while the left wing media tries to coddle up to the Islamofascists and other anti-American groups. Repeal the 22nd Amendment?????

I was talking to some friends today and mentioned my support for Cheney/Thompson in 08. A good friend mentioned repealing the 22nd Amendment to allow Bush/Cheney to run again. I know that there are many defeatocRats out there would would strongly oppose such a strong ticket. What do you folks out there in the blogosphere think? Should we get the 22nd Amendment repealed and allow Bush/Cheney to continue they're battle against the global jihadist agenda???? Give me your thoughts.

What About the Children???

I broke down and cried today, I'm not afraid to admit it. I was already deeply disheartened by the sentencing handed down on Scooter Libby today when I came across this letter about the sorrow which will befall all of the children that Scooter Libby has touched in his life. Mary Matalin, a stand up lady and assistant to Vice Precedent Cheney and a former subordinate of Scooter's had this to say

I have seen what this trial has done to my own kids, just their reading about it. I cannot imagine the toll on Scooter and Harriet's young ones. Setting aside the pain of the LIbby family, my girls just don't understand. They are old enough to intellectually comprehend the facts of the case but associating these "facts" with "Mr. Scooter" remains a complete disconnect to them.
My family is praying the wisdom and mercy you bring to bear in determing Scooter's future will include a consideration of his family, the price they have already paid and what further justice would be served by additional devastation to them and the many other children who love Scooter.

Unfortunately the Judge's heart was wrapped up in the same evil Satan had put into the heart of Patrick Fitzgerald. I pray for they're souls and for the souls of all the children who will not be touched by "Mr. Scooter."

A Nation Mourns, A World Grieves: A Miscarriage of Justice

The patriotic American Scooter Libby was sentenced today for a crime he did not commit.

Lewis "Scooter" Libby, former chief of staff to Vice President Dick Cheney, was sentenced Tuesday to 30 months in prison for lying to investigators looking into the leak of a CIA operative's identity.
He also was fined $250,000. Libby was convicted March 6 of four counts in a five-count indictment alleging perjury, obstruction of justice and making false statements to FBI investigators.

All patriotic Americans need to contact the White House and plead with the precedent to pardon this great man.

Ever since I posted about the benefit of having Fred Thompson as a vice precedential candidate, the left wing media has been on the attack about the personal life of Senator Thompson. They sum it up best over at Draft Fred Thompson

Unlike Newt and Rudy, Thompson’s second marriage did not overlap with his first wife. Thompson and Sara Lindsey divorced in 1985. He didn’t meet Jeri Kehn until 1996 and they married in 2002.

In a recent Talking Points Memo Bill let the folks know the truth about his audience. Unlike the ignorant liberals who watch Newshour on PBS or any of the network news stations, the people who watch the Factor are the cream of the crop.

Ninety-nine percent of "The Factor" audience is responsible and perceptive. Polls show this program has the smartest, most affluent, and most influential people watching in the country, not only on cable news, but in all of TV news.

This is an example of some of the stories I have come across (thank God for FoxNews and it's fair and balanced coverage!!!) that have been able to sneak across the heavily guarded liberal media border (unlike our border with Mexico, which the defeatocRats and the liberal media want to leave open so that more tuberculosis, terrorists, and rapists can freely enter our country). Hopefully more good reporting like this will make it out to the folks.

Contrary to what the liberal media here in the USA tries to say, the world actually does love the Bush Administration. Newsmax recently published an article about the left-wing slant that the media here has and how they have gotten it completely wrong about the Bush Administration. Also, as a side note, as the picture above can attest, Condi Rice is a symbol of peace throughout the world! Even the crazy fashion industry has embraced this administration (maybe they will soon come to they're senses completely and join the conservative movement)! I am just a simple guy from Ohio who don't know much about fashion, but that dress says everything we need to know about precedent Bush and his advisers: they are seeking to make the world a more peaceful place where freedom can ring from every mountaintop.

Securing America's Destiny

Most of this article is filled with typical left-wing loonatic spin about how bad precedent Bush is. However, near the bottom there is a quote that these liberal defeatocRat journalists use to try and slander our great precedent. It says

Friends of his from Texas were shocked recently to find him nearly wild-eyed, thumping himself on the chest three times while he repeated "I am the president!" He also made it clear he was setting Iraq up so his successor could not get out of "our country's destiny."

What should have been obvious to these loons, if they're vision wasn't clouded by they're liberal loonacy is the fact that Bush is standing up for America and HE HAS A PLAN!!! The left-wing media is constantly complaining that precedent Bush has never had a strategy for Iraq. How do they square that with this quote? He is leading our country not only now as precedent, but is PLANNING FAR INTO THE FUTURE so that the next precedent (hopefully Cheney) will be fully prepared to continue our destiny of spreading freedom, democracy and Christianity to not only the Middle East, but the entire world.

Blackwell handed out perfectly legal bonuses to his staff, which Strickland is trying to construe as being illegal. I'll tell you what this really is, racism. Just like all of the other defeatocRats who pretend not to be racist, Strickland is trying to smear Blackwell because he is Black, Republican, and probably beat him in the race for governor had Strickland not had such close ties to the company that produced the voting machines. Whether it be Condoleeza Rice, Justice Clarence Thomas, or former Secretary of the State of Ohio Ken Blackwell, whenever a person of color reaches the top of the government, defeatocRats do use any sleazy propaganda they can to bring them down.

Fred Thompson is a true red blooded American Hero, He has served in the Senate, he has legal exprience from Law & Order, so he understands the law, he drives a truck, hates Mormons and will stand up against the Homosexual Agenda. Unlike the liberal-lite Republican candidates who have already declared they are running, Thompson chose a truly patriotic day to announce his candidacy, July 4th. With Cheney on the top and Thompson on the bottom we conservatives could ride this ticket all the way to the White House in 08!

Why we need a fence

Recently in Mexico Miss USA was booed by the Mexican people when she fell down. Michelle was kind enough to explain the circumstances. For me it comes down to this: If these animals can't even respect one of the symbols of this great country, Miss USA, why should we allow them into our great country. These people are tripping over each other to sneak across our border, take our jobs, steal our healthcare, ingage in criminal activities and of course have unprotected sex. I say if they can't respect Miss USA, then we shouldn't respect them. Build a wall precedent Bush! Send them all back so that they can really have something to boo about, how bad it is down there!
