Looks like we here in Ohio weren't the only ones to think of repealing the 22nd Amendment!!! There is already a petition on the internets and although it looks as if some left wing loons have signed it under fake names (could we get them sued for that???) I think if we get enough real signatures we could send Congress and the precedent a real strong message about our love of freedom and our support for the Global War Against Terror. I'm not sure if this is a good idea. George Bush has been a good leader in the war on terror, without a doubt, but he has at times been too willing to appease the left-wing with his agenda. Cheney would not make the same mistake, and in many ways would represent the fresh start some are looking for in government. In other words, George Bush for a third term would be pretty good, but two (or more) terms of Cheney would be great.
I agree whole heartidly 8 years of Cheney will be a blessing, however I'm not sure if he realizes yet how important his leadership really is, with the left wing media swarming all over him and Bush, the message of support from real Americans like us might not be getting through. If Bush were in office another 4 years I think the message will have sunk in and Cheney would then, without hesitation step up to the plate and lead us to an even safer and more prosperous future.
